So this week marked the second full week of school. About three things I'm sure of: 1) I love the kids going to a Christian school full of Christ centered learning. I LOVE that the children are openly taught, loved and fulfilled in Christ via every facet of their learning. I love that the friends they keep have the same morals and values being instilled in them at home. I LOVE that my children come home telling me Bible stories and Biblical applications in other avenues of their learning. It is a huge rich blessing! I'm grateful to the Lord that he has allowed us to give Christian Education to our children! 2) Jax misses his big brother and sister when they are gone! That baby crawls around the house yelling for them. He even goes to the bottom of the stairs and hollers up to his siblings. I think he's convinced that I have them hidden away in time-out somewhere! 3) Zach and Lorén must use up all of their good in school because when they get home, I have to send them outside to get their squabbling-wild-no-good-butts out of my personal space before I start to turn gray-haired!!
This week, Zach had to dress up every day! His "heros" are Mario and Luigi and Dash from The Incredible's. Every day when he gets home from school he transforms for the rest of the evening!

Lorén got to dress up this week as well! She got to be the mascot in her school chapel. She was dressed in the Armor of God. She LOVED! it! I was so thankful that Grandma J and I were able to go and watch. At the end of Chapel she goes, "So, mommy, how do you think it went?" Why do my kids have to grow up?
Of course, Jax had to chew on the shield of faith!
She was so proud and brave!
And finally, watch out world, JAX IS A FURNITURE, WALL, YOU-NAME-IT CRUISER! This boy will be walking by 9 months. His siblings at least had the decency to wait until 10 months. sigh. . . He MUST keep up with the older kids! He simply MUST!
One day he will say: Why did you always dress me like an old man?
