To follow up yesterday. . .

Guess I did too much because today I have
. . .nursed Zach
. . .sat on my fat rear at Sheri's drinking coffee
. . .watched Frosty the Snowman with Loren
. . .watched TV
. . .taken a hot bath

That's it. I was too pooped from yesterday :)

It's 12:15 am

. . .and I have put away all of my maternity clothes and got out my winter clothes

. . .done 3 loads of laundry, and have them put away

. . .done a Walmart run and have those things put away

. . .picked up the house

. . .SHOWERED

. . .cleaned Loren's room

. . .Organized my dresser (needed to be done since we moved)

. . .Got addresses on Thank-you cards, Birth announcements

. . .have Christmas Cards ordered

. . . have a present wrapped and ready to be sent out

. . .have Zach's 0-3month clothes put away and his 3-6 out, washed and hung

. . .took 1 trip to Good Will

. . .returned Maternity clothes to everyone I borrowed from

. . .took a load of "You left this at my house" to mom's

. . .washed Zach and Loren's sheets and re-made the beds

. . .made dinner for tonight

. . .made dinner for tomorrow night for us and for a couple who just had a baby

. . .Updated my Son's Baby book ***BTW: he is cooing and smiling up a storm.**

. . .Updated the blog!





Drank a glass of 1/4 wine and 3/4 Sprite and I'm OFF TO BED FINALLY.

Why and How?

My list of stuff I have to get keeps growing exponentially compared to what I can actually get done in a day. I mean just staying on top of ALL of the laundry and dishes is almost ENOUGH in one day! Moms of 1+ kids, how do you do it? How do you find the time to get everything done and still be a good mom?

Random Thoughts on Being Mom of 2

1. Time for the "Me in Mommy" -- Buh haaaahaaahaaaa!
2. Loren, where is Zach's Paci? Get it out of your nose!
3. The paci will be fine with a quick rinse under the faucet. . .with Loren it was sanitized on High in the dishwasher
4. Every muscle I have aches
5. Loren will try to nurse her Cabbage Patch Doll
6. Pictures of the baby? Are you nuts? I am going nutso over here!
7. Thank God for Grandparents!
8. Again analyzing poo-poo in the diaper
9. Why, oh why won't my child potty-train?
10. 10 loads of laundry, 10 loads of dishes, 10 loads of trash
11. Dinner? What is frozen or on speed-dial on the phone?
12. Sure I would love to get together. . .please come to me!
13. Getting out to the car takes an extra 1/2 an hour. Therefore I've been VERY late to everything the last two weeks!
14. I am going to scream the next time both kids are crying at once!
15. Lastly: I love every minute of it!

Funny story: My son is trying to latch onto Bob the Builder Doll's shoe right now! He's working very hard to get it in his mouth!

Cutest story of Loren!

My mom came over and helped me put Loren down the other night while Mike was at Football. I'm in my room feeding Zach and I hear over the monitor Mom praying with Loren. Here is how it goes:

Grandma: "God bless mommy"
Loren: "ACHOO!"

Loren: "ACHOO!"
grandma: "God bless Grandma"
Loren: "ACHOO!"

We finally figured out that Loren thought this was a great game where she would pretend to sneeze and we would say, "God bless you!" I thought it was pretty funny and sweet!
