Mike has been doing very well at his job! He absolutely loves his job. He keeps pretty busy working between 10 - 20 projects all at once. He also keeps busy around the house. I have put him up to a TON of projects. He has installed a new lamppost outside, new ceiling fans, painted cabinets, the entire basement, and Loren's new "big girl room." He is extremely talented. all of those years on the job for Bob must have paid off :) Of course, Mike was crushed beyond belief when his beloved Bears (or the dumb quarterback in particular) screwed him out of a Superbowl win :). He moped for weeks ;)!
My time is mostly consumed with Human Anatomy and Physiology. It's not an easy class but I'm doing extremely well in it. I LOVE it! This week we are learning about the bones of the upper body and the muscles of the upper body. See how it keeps me pretty busy? Not only do I need to know them by name, I need to locate them and spell the name correctly. For any of you who know me, you know that spelling is NOT my strong suit! Other than that I still enjoy watching Loren every day. she keeps me busy.

Wow, this girl has grown up in the last month! She is speaking so well! She says so many words. . .book, mommy, I love you, I see you, Peek-a-boo, nummy nummy, cow, puppy (her favorite word), daddy, Meemaw (grandma), No (correction, this is her favorite word ;) ), up, bottle, drink, look, what?, me do, and All done! Her new talent is to identify animals by sound: Loren what does a cow say? "Mooooo". She knows cow, duck, horse, piggy, puppy, kitty, sheep, birdy, and chicken. Her favorite toy is still a book. She always has one with her. She loves Dr. Seuss books the best. Well,
she's yelling for me. I guess she's done with her nap.
