Puppet Shows
Another Pinterest idea come to life! For "Make it Monday" we decided to make puppets. Mike got a ton of new socks to replace the plethora of mismatched ones we've had for years. The kids and I decided to take the black ones and make some Batman puppets. It was a lot of fun actually!
I also decided to make a puppet "theater" for them. I saw this idea on pinterest for a Doorway Puppet Theater. She wanted . . . gasp almost $70 bucks for it. I thought "I can do something just as fun for much less." And, Ta-Da:

Now I realize that this is NO WHERE as cute but I did only spend $4.75 on it. Yes, I went to Walmart and found a clearanced beach towel and a tension rod. I spent about an hour cutting and hemming. I only cut out the "box" on 3 sides and folded it up and attached velcro so they could "lower the curtain" when the show was over (See where the dots don't quite line up at the top). Anyway. . .for $5 I think it turned out cute but most of all FUN!
