Sweet Lorén continues to be the light of our lives!  She is doing so well in First Grade!  Lately she's been very interested in cooking!  I've been trying to give her opportunities to follow recipes on her own and create interesting dishes on her own.  She is very creative and it comes out in her "cooking" and in the multitude of books she creates!

7 years old!

"Cooking" a Salad

In her cool new sunglasses that she "bought" with her piano money.

Cooking Mac and Cheese.

She insisted on cooking in her tutu.  As every good cook should.

Really good apparently!

Doing homework in her ballet outfit.  She earned colored hair extensions as a prize for earning something.  She asked to wear it to ballet because it was pink and it matched.

Practicing her spelling words.

Wonderful and adorable Zach continues to be our strong, sensitive and loving young man.  He has been really into his Korean Martial Arts Kook Sool.  He is getting really good at his Ki Cho Hyung part 1.  It's HARD.  I know it's supposed to look bad-ass but it is really beautiful.  He's learning respect, discipline and self confidence!  He loves it. . .I love it!

Part 1 Number 1 and 17

Part 1 number 6

Part 1 number 16 - He's gearing up for a loud yell.
Jax continues to be a little holy terror!  I just adore him to pieces.  I have to or I'd hang him up by his toes for 2 minutes peace!  God made him adorable looking for a reason!  It's his self defense!  He's got so verbal lately.  He's developed his verbal skills much later than the other ones.  He's my baby so I'm okay with that.  Today he came up to me and finally spoke to me in a full sentence.  "Mommy my molk (milk) peeze (Please)."  It melted my heart the other day when he said, "Momma. Uh are Daddy?"  He's growing up.  I love/hate it.
Grandma Burgess sent him stickers for Valentines day.  Caught him like this before I could say "Valentines."  Sigh!  At least it was on him instead of my computer or cabinets or floor!
